Gail Mangurten

Gail Mangurten, piano, graduated from Indiana University in Bloomington, where she studied a variety of musical styles including jazz piano. While at Indiana she was musical director of a nationally acclaimed theater group selected to perform at the Kennedy Center For the Performing Arts. Gail was the musical director at Tuxedo Junction, a 1940's style supper club, and performed regularly with the College of DuPage Jazz Band. She is on staff at Virtuoso Performing Arts where she teaches piano. She has made four recordings with Maxwell Street and is composer of the show, "Jewish Songbirds of Tin Pan Alley." Gail toured widely with Maxwell Street including performances in Europe and Carnegie Hall.
